Linders Fancy Toffee is prepared in a licensed kitchen, and prepared by Linders' chef who is licensed in food preparation in El Dorado County.
After extensive testing we have added a dark chocolate flavoring, and also a capuccino flavor. The capuccino is named more for its coloring than its flavor. We also continue testing with other nuts. New in 2014 is the dark chocolate sampler box featuring almonds, macadamia nuts, and pecans. And the testing continues. When we find a recipe that we think tastes as good as the original recipe, we make it available to our good customers.
Actually the ingredients are the easy part - it's the cooking process that is special. It requires careful timing to get the toffee mixture just the right color.
